Located in São Bento, one of Lisbon’s most charming and characterful neighbourhoods, this interior architecture and decoration project was developed for two German friends and business partners who fell in love with the city and return regularly with their families.

The aim was to create a refined, comfortable and timeless urban retreat — a home where they could share time with their families while enjoying the unique rhythm and atmosphere of Lisbon. The design combines contemporary elegance with warmth and authenticity, creating spaces that feel both sophisticated and welcoming.

A palette of soft, earthy tones, natural textures and carefully selected materials establishes a serene atmosphere, while touches of deep green, rich brown and black introduce depth and character. Natural wood, tactile fabrics, handcrafted ceramics and curated decorative pieces bring warmth and individuality to the interiors, balancing understated design with everyday comfort.

Every detail was thoughtfully considered to create a home that is as functional as it is inviting, offering flexibility for family stays while maintaining a strong sense of identity. The result is a relaxed yet sophisticated retreat that reflects their connection to Lisbon — a place to return to, gather together and feel at home, time and time again.
