Located by the sea in Praia de Altura, UCA is a relaxed and contemporary restaurant where design draws directly from its coastal setting and its name,  inspired by the color of the crab. The interior is defined by a fresh and natural palette of whites, warm woods and handcrafted ceramics, creating a light and welcoming atmosphere that reflects the brightness of the Algarve. Clean white surfaces enhance the natural light, while wooden elements introduce warmth and a sense of authenticity.
The terracotta tone, carefully integrated throughout the space, brings a distinctive identity to the project. Evoking the color of the crab, the symbol behind the name UCA, this hue appears in details, finishes and decorative accents, adding depth and a subtle narrative layer to the environment.
Ceramic elements, both decorative and functional, reinforce the connection to local craft traditions and coastal culture, while textured materials and simple, honest finishes create a relaxed and tactile experience.
